• Language Communication — allows her to communicate with creatures, whom others don't understand

• Mind-Reader — allows her to read everyone's thoughts when needed

• Soul Seeker — allows her to sense/seek anyone's feelings

Note: All three powers are used when she wears her amulet.

Strength/s: Runa's main strengths are her friends and family. She feels that they have a special importance in her life. Runa's secondary strength is the purpose she has in life: To help those who cannot defend the world on their own. Not only that, but the support she receives from her loved ones has helped her fulfill her purpose in life. 

Weakness/es: Runa's main weakness is PTSD. After recalling the time Clara died, Runa can be quite overprotective at times. She has a tendency to launch in and protect her loved ones without thinking. In one extreme time, she rushes in to save Shadow from a dangerous situation. After this, she unknowingly calls him, "Clara." He secondary weakness is a fear of losing her loved ones.

Goal/s in Life: To help those who cannot defend the world on their own, to become Shadow's Guardian (eventually)

Backstory

Runa was created by Professor Lucas Michaels as a purpose to help those who cannot defend themselves. They both lived together like a happy family and Runa preferred to call Lucas "father" instead.

5 years later, she became friends with Lucas' niece, Clara Michaels after she discovered her purpose on her own. They told each other about themselves and their secrets. They even fought alongside each other. They'd been inseparable for another 5 years. Until Clara got shot by a leader of the gangsters, which got Runa horrified and made her tragically cry and mourn for her. Before she died, Clara asked Runa to promise her that she will take her place as a person determined to protect the world.

A little while later, Runa kept mourning for her until Lucas comforted her saying that with or without Clara, he'll always care for her.

2 years later, Lucas died in a lab set on fire. Runa seemingly died while trying to save Lucas. 28 years later, she woke up with amnesia and was taken in by Aleyah and her parents.

Behind the Scenes

Inspiration (Who or what inspires me to create this character?):

• Sunset Shimmer from My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - When I thought about the qualities that will suit Shadow's love interest for him, the first ones that came to my mind were those that were like Sunset Shimmer. This is due to how Sunset can understand other people.

• Raya from Raya and the Last Dragon - Raya inspires me to create a hidden purpose that Runa is about to discover.

• Daisy Johnson (known as Skye and Quake) from  Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - I'm still catching up on the episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and I'm currently on Season 3 episode 1. But the way Daisy goes on her journey inspires me to expand and develop Runa's character even more.

• Kashima Ryuuichi from Gakuen Babysitters (aka, School Babysitters) — I recently watched Gakuen Babysitters and it was wholesome. I'm also reading the manga. I currently finished chapter 140. When I thought of how Runa takes care of children like Junior, Ryuuichi popped into my head. That's because of the way Ryuuichi takes care of children like his brother, Kotarou.
