Runa's Five Chao Concept Art (Original vs Redesign)

In these artworks, you'll see two concept arts of Runa's five chao. One was the original concept, while the other one was the redesigned concept. I had decided to redesign Runa's five chao because I feel like Bearace's and Juniper's personality don't fit well with them being the Hero Chao.

Below is the description of each of the five chao: 

1. Rosy

    — The cute and innocent chao. She yearned to be friendds with the other chao, but no one seemed to notice her. The only friend she had was Mystico. Runa took Rosy in, along with Mystico because she felt bad for them being alone.

    — Rosy hates violence, but she will use it to defend herself and if it's absolutely necessary.

2. Mystico

    — The mysterious, analytic and secretive chao. He is Rosy's first and only friend before Runa took them in.

    — Mystico keeps a lot of secrets and tells them no one, except those whom he absolutely trusts. So far, Runa and his chao friends were the only ones he absolutely trusts.

    — Mystico also makes theories and predictions based on his analysis. For example, whenever he sees someone being crazy-obsessed with Shadow the Hedgehog, it takes moments of observation before theorizing that they would most likely not end up romantically together. Another example is when he sees moments between Runa and Shadow. After analyzing their chemistry for a while, he theorizes that they would romantically end up together because their chemistry is steady and understanding.

3. Shania

    — A loyal and friendly chao. She used to be the owner of Bianca the Hedgehog (my other Sonic OC), but after being abused and abandoned, she began to feel lonely. Runa took Shania in to take care of her and help her feel like home. Shania was grateful for that. As a result, she decided to stick by Runa's side, and help and comfort her whenever she needed it.

    — Whenever Runa is bullied, Shania would always step in to defend her honor. Depending on who bullies Runa, the result could be good or bad. Most of the time, the results are bad.

4. Bearace

    — An energetic and adventurous chao. Bearace and his twin sister, Juniper, used to be owners of Sophia George (my other Human Sonic OC), but sometime after she died, Runa took them in because they begged her to stay with them.

    — In the Sonic Archie Fanfic Series, Runa first took care of them temporarily as a Chao-sitter. After some time, they decided to stay with her for a lifetime. It took Sophia a while before she agreed. Since then, Bearace and Juniper lived a happy life with the other three chao and Runa.

    — Bearace loves adventure and action. Whenever there's a mission, he's always ready to face challenges. Whenever there's a battle, he's always ready to kick butt. Whenever he falters, he perseveres. He rises up to fight again whenever he falls to the ground.

5. Juniper

    — A discerning and stable chao. Juniper is Bearace's twin sister. They hatched from one egg. She had the same backstory as Bearace before Runa took them in.

    — Juniper knows the difference between right and wrong. Whenever she's tempted to do something wrong, she's says "No" without hesitation. She would also stop creatures, mobians and people from arguing with each other whenever there's one.

    — Juniper also theorizes whether two certain people are romantically right for each other or not. For example, whenever she sees someone flirting with an edgy person, she theorizes that they're not romantically right for each other. Another example is when she sees moments between Shadow and Runa. She thinks they're romantically right for each other because Runa understands what Shadow has been through and vice versa.

    — Juniper is not afraid to fight bad guys. Like Bearace, whenever she falters, she perseveres. She rises up and fights again whenever she falls to the ground.
