2 Oil Pastel Paintings Inspired by CHUANG ASIA Season 2 Second Public Stage

I'd like to sincerely apologize for being on hiatus for a week because I've been focusing on important tasks needed for school. Right now, let's witness two oil pastel paintings I have made.

Oil Pastel Painting 1: Hearts

Inspired by: CRUSH (Originally sung by Sunkis and performed by MYST, KK, PRAY, WUXUN, ALTON ANG and Special Guest Gen1es DIDI OUYANG)

This oil pastel painting contains heart patterns that are inspired by CRUSH's background theme.

This performance melted my heart. I can't tell how many times I fangirled while watching it. Everyone did amazing, especially MYST, WUXUN and DIDI.

Before I learned that MYST was planning to perform CRUSH, I wanted him to perform it. I haven't heard of it at that time, but when I thought of the song title "CRUSH," I thought it might be a romantic song. And I wanted MYST to perform a romantic song.

I told myself to calm down and let MYST pick what song he wants because I know everyone has different choices.

Eventually, when I learned that MYST planned to perform CRUSH, I got so excited I felt like jumping up and down while fangirling, while in reality, I just sat there smiling in excitement. Sometime after that, I listened to the song to help me familiarize with it.

When I witnessed how Team CRUSH practiced for the performance, I was impressed with MYST's leadership. This has inspired me to improve my own leadership. I was also impressed with DIDI's leadership in the second half part of the practice. She reminds me of one of my classmates in school.

I have so much more to tell about Team CRUSH's practice progress and their final performance, but right now, let's witness the second oil pastel painting I have made.

Oil Pastel Painting 2: All Hope is Lost... or is it?

Inspired by: NO WAY (An original song made, and performed by THI-O, WHYLUCAS, HU YETAO, YAO ZIHAO, YUCHEN and Special Guest NANA OUYANG.)

In this oil pastel painting, you can see the hooded girl, looking down in sadness. On the inside, she falls into despair and she feels like all hope is lost. Soon, a light from the lantern will show her the way to breakthrough and become successful.

When I first saw the first shot of No Way in one of the trailers, my first impression is that it might be a powerful performance. Both because of the energy and because the members are so popular among the fans. When I watched it for the first time, I can feel the power in the performance. It felt so powerful that it can overpower MIC DROP and maybe even WHEN WE DISCO.

Everyone did amazing in the performance. Rapper HU YETAO was really cool. I've never heard him rap until I watched the performance. The part where THI-O and NANA sang together was amazing.

In the end, Team NO WAY won the Second Public Stage.

Both CRUSH and NO WAY inspired me to create art related to them. That's how I made those oil pastel paintings.

Side Note: 

I'm giving you an update about myself watching CHUANG Season 2. Before I watched the Second Public Stage Performance, I had watched episode 5. It was a lot of fun. I cheered on while watching it. I also watched an extra episode where the trainees chose the song for the Second Public Stage.

Episode 5 of CHUANG Magazine reminded me of the laser tag game.

Episode 6 of the main CHUANG ASIA Season 2 series was heartbreaking. At the same time, the scene where I learned that MYST wrote letters to every single trainee in CHUANG ASIA, including himself, made me cry tears of joy. It felt like a lot of work, but he managed to get them all done. He's such a sweet boy for that! 💖💖💖🥹🥹🥹💖💖💖

Right now, I'm waiting for Episode 9.
