NexT1DE Wallpaper

After a few days of working on it, I finally finished making the NexT1DE Wallpaper. This is my first time drawing seven people in one picture. It was a lot of work, but it's worth it.

Side Note 1: Updates about myself watching CHUANG ASIA Season 2

Firstly, I watched the LIVE Broadcast for the second elimination when it was released for the first time. I missed the first half of it because I was resting and I didn't realize that it was way past when the LIVE Broadcast had started. Luckily, I watched its rerun. That time, I got to know what's happening the first half of the stream.

Episode 9 was good. I'm happy for the trainees who had received their rankings right after the second elimination. There were a few scenes that are funny to me and there were others that made me clap and smile for the trainees.

I had listened to everyone's speeches in Episode 9. They were all good and they did great in coming that far. Then, when I listened to MYST's speech, I started relating to him for the third time. Both of us have times where we met people who are better than us, but we both react in different ways. MYST practiced in his free time to catch up with them. I, on the other hand, feel insecure, especially when someone younger than me is better at certain things. I decided not to dwell in my insecurities because I don't want to sabotage those who made me insecure, especially when those people are my friends and best friends. This was the third moment I started relating to MYST.

The first moment happened sometime after discovering that he had a lot to learn about the Chinese language in CHUANG Magazine Episode 5. When I first heard it, I was shocked to the core. I thought he was good at Chinese, but at that time, I realized that he has a lot to learn. After thinking about it, that scene in CHUANG Magazine Episode 5 became something I can relate to. Both of us are still learning other languages besides English, with mine being Tagalog and MYST's being Chinese.

The second moment happened after I read MYST's letter in the SEND LOVE RANKINGS area. Both of us are perfectionists. Overtime, we've learned how to overcome it on different ways. For MYST, he does so by learning that it's okay to fail. For me, I do so by learning how to adapt to circumstances.

During the third moment I relate to MYST, I learned two new lessons. Firstly, I learned that I don't need to compete with others. I just need to compete with my past self. This means I have to improve my character and learn new things from those who are better than me. Secondly, I learned that it's okay not to win 1st place. All that matters is that I've worked really hard for my "final performance." Since then, I tried applying those lessons to myself.

During the Song Selection for the Grand Debut Night LIVE, I was concerned because I think all three songs are Korean, but I know they're gonna do great in their performances. When THI-O and MYST became groupmates in Team HAPPY, I was a bit surprised, mainly because one of my random thoughts came true. That random thought included THI-O and MYST being in the same team for a certain performance because they're my top two favorite trainees.

Yes, I have other favorite CHUANG ASIA Season 2 trainees besides MYST. Those other favorites include THI-O, HU YETAO, HIKARU, WHYLUCAS, OMAR, BIANURA and some others.

I watched the Grand Debut Night LIVE just in time when it was live streaming last April 6, 2025. There were moments where I felt chills running down my spine in a good way, and there are moments where I felt sad and proud at the same time because the trainees were about to graduate from CHUANG ASIA.

Big congrats to all NexT1DE members for officially debuting as a group. Keep up a great work! 😁👍❤️💖

Side Note 2: What do I think of NexT1DE?

I think NexT1DE is a hardworking and entertaining group. I've seen them practice in one of their videos while I was working on the wallpaper above. Sometimes, I would look at the video to see what happens. Sometimes, I find few members like THI-O waving at the viewers, and sometimes, I find NextT1DE still practicing.

I was happy that some of my favorites officially debuted.

I enjoyed listening to NexT1DE's interview in EFM Fandom LIVE while I was working on the wallpaper. I may not understand Thai that much, but I was entertained regardless. I especially found it entertaining when the NexT1DE members are doing the high-note challenge. It reminded me of two YouTubers doing the high vocal range test.

Below are my opinions on each member of NexT1DE: 

1. THI-O

• THI-O gave off the similar vibes as one of my guy friends in school.
• His English is really great. I didn't notice him speaking in English until I watched his One-Day Vlog.
• I relate to him when it comes to learning our native languages. THI-O has a lot to learn in reading Thai, while I have a lot to learn in understanding Tagalog.
• He's one year older than me.
• Part of his vibe is similar to Hinata Shoyo from Haikyū!! because his go-to symbol is a sunflower and he's, in my opinion, the sunshine of NexT1DE. Hinata is the sunshine of Karasuno, which makes his and THI-O's vibes similar.
• He has the same birthday as Bokuto Kotarō from Haikyū!! and my best guy friend in school.

2. HU YETAO

• Obviously, HU YETAO is charming. He's shown that since the Grand Auditions, especially his extra show.
• He's strategic, especially in CHUANG ASIA Season 2 Episode 5. Whenever I see him strategizing, Shikamaru from Naruto popped into my head for some reason.
• He kind of reminds me of Kuroo and Oikawa from Haikyū!!, both because of his charm and strategy skills.
• He also reminds me of Sugawara from Haikyū!! because he's the "mom" of the group like the latter.

3. OMAR

• OMAR reminds me of one of my guy acquaintances in school because they both play basketball and they both have similar accents when speaking in English.
• He's like a little brother to me.

4. XIONG

• XIONG is pretty chill, in my opinion. I can feel his chilling vibe whenever I see him.
• He's the type to perform in different genres to challenge himself.

5. YAO ZIHAO

• YAO ZIHAO is, in my opinion, the most extroverted member I've ever seen.
• He somehow reminds me of one of my guy friends in school from Grades 9-10 because of his confidence when performing onstage.
• I think one of my besties from Grades 9-10 will like this member because of his energy and demeanor.
• I think my guy friends will like his confidence.

6. DORN

• I don't have much of what I thought of DORN at first, but when my brother saw him doing the moonwalk while I was watching the CHUANG ASIA Season 2 Bangkok Fan Meeting on TV, he turned to me and said, "Michael Jackson." I was surprised at first, but he told me he said that because DORN was doing the moonwalk like Michael Jackson. Since then, I have sparked my opinion about DORN: "He's cool and is great at doing moonwalks."

7. SHEN

• I don't know much about SHEN at first, but when I watched his performances for the second time, I found that he's cool and chill at the same time.

If you ask me who my bias (favorite) is in NexT1DE, I like all of them equally, but if I have to choose one, it will be THI-O.
